Late Friday the Fed Ex man delivered the FWF Kit from Van's. Saturday we had a great 1.85 inch rain as a cool front passed Austin. The rain was sorely needed since we are in an extreme drought here in Central Texas. In the afternoon Charlotte and I decided we needed to inventory the FWF kit.
We opened the box and got with it. I had deleted the big items such as the prop governor, the oil cooler, the exhaust system, the aluminum cabin heat selector, the Van's engine vibration mounts, and an aluminum scat flange. The inventory went quickly until we got to the hardware bags which had to be opened and parts counted. Everything was there except some flush screws. We had received 4 out of the 10 that were called for. We also had only one item back ordered.
