Brief Description:  Finish parking brake & begin fuel tubes.

I finished the cutout on tunnel cover for the parking brake handle and will probably line the cutout with with some type of rubber to prevent cutting my hand on the thin and sharp slot.

The next project is to bend the fuel tubes that go from the fuel tank to the fuel selector valve. This tubing is 3/8" OD and much more difficult to bend by hand. The new Imperial bender should handle the bends easily enough if I can figure out how to get it through the side of the fuselage, around and through the gear mount, and through the holes in the spar brackets. A couple of 90 degree bends will be needed to attach to the fuel selector fittings, I think. I hope there's room enough to operate the bender in that tight space.

I first drilled the two 1" holes on the sides of the fuselage where the tubes will come out to the wing tanks. The holes go through two pieces of aluminum that are closely spaced and riveted to give strength for the landing gear mount area. The holes are filled with the large rubber gromets that allow some movement of the tubes as the wings flex at bit in flight.
