Brief Description:  Moved Fuselage to garage/Wings to patio deck.

Charlotte and I finally decided to move the fuselage from the back deck to the garage and the wings from the garage to the deck. We are waiting for LED lighting for nav/strobe and landing lights which aren't in production from Aveo Engineering or AeroLed. They are all waiting for EAA Airventure 2008 to show their new stuff. Also, Dynon hasn't started producing its new autopilot stuff yet which I've decided to use. Therefore, we decided to work on the Quick Build fuselage while waiting.

We invited my brother and nephew for a steak dinner not telling them they had to work for it. After some rigorous lifting and logistics manuevering (around the house from the back yard through the front yard to the driveway then the garage and back), we had the fuselage on its rotisserie engine stands in the garage and the wings in their cradle on the deck. Some cold "drinks" and a rare cool evening here in Austin, had us sitting around talking as the steaks cooked on the grill.

We also have been working on the electrical design and instrument panel trying to decide how much to spend. We bought XPanel software to run some iterations of instruments and costs. Very disheartening, the costs are outrageous. Oh well, its only money! Now I'm trying to come up with an engine that doesn't use much fuel. By the time we have this thing built we won't have enough money to pay for the fuel if it keeps going up at the rate it has! May end up with a very expensive yard dart!
