Brief Description: Fabricated right wingtip cutout lens.
Today I fabricated the right wingtip cutout lens. Instead of using the Dremel tool this time, I used tin snips to cut off the excessisve lens material. It was much faster and cleaner. It took much less sanding, but I still sanded and fit many times to avoid sanding off too much. I drilled the holes with a drill bit for plastic materials and then countersunk using the debur tool. It all went well and quickly this time.
I riveted the angles on the wing "end" ribs that I had removed while using the aileron neutral set jig. The adel clamp is one of three on each wing that secures the wing wiring conduit from moving.
If the electrical terminals come in tomorrow, I'll finish wiring the Aveo six-in-one landing/taxi/position/strobe light modules.
