Brief Description:  Riveted nutplates and dimpled wing skins.

My Air Force/airline buddy John came for a visit from Nevada and helped me with the wingtips. He is a very experienced AF/airline pilot and builder, having built his own amphibian Sea Rey. What a joy to have someone who knows a lot more than I know as my helper! We finished drilling the nutplate holes and countersinks.

John dimpled the wing skins to accept the wingtips. All went well except for one hole that wouldn't accept the air or hand squeezer. We, therefore, had to fabricate wooden blocks to take the dimple dies then used a hammer and bucking bar to accomplish the task. We then riveted the nutplates onto the wingtips with the air squeezer. With John's help it went quickly. After a successful day of building, it was time for Happy Hour!!
