Brief Description:  Added nutplates for intersection fairings.

Today I added three nutplates out of the four needed to attach each main gear leg intersection fairing. The nutplates were added forward of the main gear mount (inside on the cockpit floor), aft of the carrythrough spar (inside the cockpit under the seat pan), and on the bottom skin protrusion that will attach to the bottom of the wing. A fourth will be added to the wing root fairing when the wings are attached.

I had located the three positions with the fairing held to the bottom of the fuselage and then drilled #40 holes for the clecos. I enlarged these holes to #27 for the #6 screws that I'll use in the nutplates. I then drilled the nutplate holes using the #6 nutplate jig. After deburring the holes, I clecoed the nuplates into position and then used stainless steel 3/32" pop-rivets to rivet them in place. The blind rivets made it much easier than trying to use the rivet gun and bucking bar which was impossible for one person to accomplish on the nutplate inside, just forward of the gear mount.
