Brief Description: Finished most angles for the plenum.
This post consists of the last few days of work. I completed all the plenum attach angles that hold the plenum to the aft and side baffles. I now only have to make angles that hold the plenum ducts to the forward baffles (those behind the prop spinner). After putting the upper cowling on, I checked to see that the ducts came to the inside of the top lip of the upper cowling inlets. They should be about 1/4" above the lips so as not to touch the cowl inlets during engine start and shutdown. This should also give me enough room to add rubber to the inlet lips if necessary to seal the flow of air from coming back forward upon expansion with the increase in static pressure.
Just another day at the office!
Extended the length of the right duct by 1/4" to bring it inside the right upper cowling lip.
