Brief Description: More measurements before the cut.
Without my sweetheart's encouragement today, I measured, and then measured again until I thought I could now cut. A tech counselor then dropped by and said it was looking good but to leave the baffles in place this time and use snips to make the second cut. Why hadn't I thought of that? It sure saved a lot of time. Of course, #4 would still need the hack saw treatment but I would need to remove them to debur anyway.
I put the top cowling on and looked in with a flashlight and confirmed (in my mind at least) that the marked lines looked right. I'll cut tomorrow.
I took a piece of styrofoam and made plug for the left inlet while I had the top cowling in place. I'll use the plug to help make measurements for the plenum forward edge that will come over the top lip of the inlet.
Look closely to see the top line marked on #4 aft baffle box.
Hard to see through the right inlet using flashlight.
