Brief Description: Continuity check of wiring & pitot ops check.
Charlotte and I checked the continuity of the crimps for the wingtip lighting wires and it all checked good. We also checked the operation of the pitot heat by connecting the wiring to my Odyssey battery. She held the pitot and it quickly started warming up, therefore, it checked good before it gets installed.
I scuffed the left wing outboard bottom skin on the inside and deburred all the sharp edges. After cleaning the skin with acetone, I took it outside and placed it on some cardboard on the grass. I then sprayed three thin coats of primer in a big rush before it was supposed to rain. No rain!! You just can't trust the TV weathermen in Texas. We haven't had rain since June. The drought continues!!
