Brief Description:  Made Aux battery cables to contactor and ground.

Having pretty much decided on how to support the Aux battery cables, it was time to fabricate them. It was going to be close because I only had a few feet left of the 12' of 4AWG weldilng cable that I had purchased. I then realized I had forgotten about the cable that would go to the alternator. Darn, I'll have to buy some more cable as well as another 1/4" and 5/16" terminal.

The new fat wire crimper made fabricating quick and easy. The only tedious part is soldering for better electrical connectivity and attaching the labels with heat shrink. Connecting the wires with no forward fuselage skin made me realize that after we rivet on the skin, I'll be lying on my back under the panels. I hope that when future maintenance and inspections are required that I'm not too old and weak to do it!

The Forest-of-tabs ground block location is at the top of the recess right on the centerline. I decided that was a logical place to install it, but hope it's not illogical as I proceed with the wiring. Never know if I'll say, "Now that was a dumb place to put it, Ken"! I'll find out soon enough, I'm sure.
