Brief Description: Added SL-30 tray & Air Gizmo GPS dock.
Today I added the tray for the SL30 nav/com and the Air Gizmo dock for the GPS 496. The only thing difficult was making a perpendicular hole while drilling with the 90 degree drill. One can't position oneself to see if one is holding the drill correctly to drill the hole perpendicular. No biggee, just whip out the old rat tail file and make the hole work by elongating or making it a little larger. I did not shim the trays yet but it won't take much, maybe 0.016" on one side or the other to get the radios to slide in and out easily. The transponder slides in easily but the nav/com is a little tight.
Tomorrow I'll fasten the nav/com tray at the rear and determine if I need a shim or two.
