Brief Description:  Fix parking brake problem

No pics today. I had mentioned that the matco parking brake was only holding brake on right wheel. Called thge company and did not get much help or direction. Soooo, I decided Id tap on the unit to see if the inner parts would free up and move, assuming something was not moving. Well, while doing that I heard something like a washer hit the floor and then fluid starting coming out!!! Turns out what I heard was a snap ring that hold a camsaft like thing in the body and apparantly if the cam moves , thing will leak. Hmmmm. This might have been the issue to begin with. After taking the brake out and taking apart i noticed that a plunger for each brake rides up and down under a spring and on a cam lobe like a valve on a cam on engine sorta. I also noticed that if the cam moves one way or the other from where it should be the valve wont ride up and dowm on the cam lobe. Ahhaaa!!! So, I got that put back together and checked operation with air and it seems to work. Its all installed again and tomorrow Ill fill the fluid and bleed and test operation once again.
TYhis took a good deal of time to figure out. If ypur reading this and have a small leak with matco parking brake or an issue with it not holding brake pressure when set, I suggest just taking it appart and checking the rubber orings and that pesky snap ring. Make sure its seated!
