Brief Description: Comm ant coax and xpdr coax bnc connector attached
1. One end of my rg400 coax was previously prepped using the tool described earlier, and so I attached the center conductor pin and crimped in place verifying that the wire can be seen thru the witness hole in pin. Did 2 pull tests. Slid the ferrule over and back on the cable out of way. Folded the braided sheathing back and inserted into the bnc body. Pulled the braided sheath back down over the bnc stem and then pulled the ferrule down over the braid and the stem. Crimped the ferrule to the bnc.
2. Repeated above steps for the other antenna connection and when finished tested the connections with a multi meter for good conductivity. Note. I was testing one connector to the other on same cable. My plan will be to cut this cable in half and run each one from the antenna to the panel where another bnc will then be connected to each end again. But for now I at least know these connectors are ok.
