Brief Description:  Rivit on final stiffners to floors and install in

Stiffners were to be rivited on after floors installed but I couldnt reach them with anything to do that while in fuse. I found it difficult enough just to get them rivited into position. I had read where others were successful in installing the floors with the stiffners already rivited on. To verify this, I clecoed them Iand then set to install them. Though it more difficult, I was able to get them in.

Removed the floor panels again and rivited the 3 stiffners to each floor panel. I simply back rivited them.

Primered the panels again to cover the new rivit heads

Reposition the panels back in fuselage. It was harder with stiffners rivited on but its a non event getting them in.

Positioned the two forward edge shims and the rear seat back hinge shim and clecoed

The fwd edge of ech floor panel has 4 each nut plates to be installed. They are also difficult to get positioned and Im not real sure about setting those rivits either. The nut plate rivits go thru the floor skin and the shim and floor brace as well as the nut plate. I was able to cleco the plates in from below. I have found cherry rivits CCR264CS3-4 rivits which are ideal for nut plates..i heard. Hopefully they are the right llength because I ordered about 20 of them. I have 5 and can try one or two tomorrow to see if they work as advertised.

Made a cardboard pop rivit holder and set 100 rivits in it. I let Brenda spray the heads with NAPA grey primer
