Brief Description: attach the flanged duct to the fuselage
1. I had purchased and drilled previously a double flanged 2' duct to use as a hose attach point from wing air intake and then duct to GIB air. This was idea from rv8 builder Steve Riffe to keep extra cold air from entering the oversized hole in the fuse skin where the scat hose penetrates. Nice simple idea too! I simply rivit on with four 4-4 pull rivits from the exterior. It will also be concealed with in the wing root area.
