1.Rivitted on most of the turtle deck today. Wife Brenda was on bucking detail here and spent plenty of time in the tube. All but one rivit came out real nice and we are pleased. The long edges are done with flush 3 dash 6 rivits and Vans's only supplied me with 72 rivits for some reason. 80 on each side are needed. I called Vans to get the needed number sent. I dont think they know why but I suspect it had something to do with the quick build kits used to have the turtle deck rivited on already and thus would not require as many dash 6 rivits. The upper bulkheads were rivited with 3dash 3.5 rivits. I also had a problem with the seat belt anchors that require 4 dash 5 rivits and do I have any?? NO! again So just a mere 30 minutes after getting off the phone, I find I need something else that I could have already solved. *^&%##$@$!!
