Brief Description: Front and rear seat rudder pedal install-final
1. Installed the right side bracket and guise for rear seat rudder pedal as done on left side.
2. Install the left and right side rear seat rudder push pedal tube in guide and attached rear cable and front cables to pivit arm bolt.
3. Attached the eyebolts on fwd rudder cables and cotter pin. I then attached the eyebolts to the aft side of the firewall with 7 washers as spacers. Put 6 washers on fwd side of firewall and nutted with heat resistant nuts. Checked rudder pedals for vertical with a square and they are. And even with eachother too!
4. Unclamped the rudder from neutral trailing position and checked the full range of travel for any binding or catching.
Nut plate lug drilled and rivited along the side of the one in corner. Tight quarters!
Forward rudder cables attached to firewall. Mine required 7 washers aft side and 6 fwd side.
Front and rear pedal assemblys instaled and operating correctly.
