My friend Dave Ganzer helped me with the compression and timing check. We started with the timing and I removed all the upper plugs. I losened the mags and connected the digital timing checker. The prop was centered and timing set to 25 deg on both. Compression check was straight forward. The compression, cold engine, was #1 73/80 #2 76/80 #3 70/80 #4 77/80 These numbers will be even better when the engine is warm, but they are still very good!
