Brief Description: Added Fuel to Tanks/Checked Fuel Guardian Lts
Walt Halloran helped me check the Fuel Guardian low fuel level lights. After the fuel flow and unusable fuel tests had been completed, Walt incrementally added five gallons of fuel to the left tank while I watched the low fuel level lights. I expected the light to go out after about two gallons had been added, but it did not. Walt had emptied the five gallon gas can into the tank when I noticed that the light on the right tank was not illuminated any more. Apparently I had gotten the wires crossed when I added the Fuel Guardian wires from the tanks to the processor box. Walt began to add fuel to the right tank and the left light went out just before he had added two gallons. This confirmed our suspicions.
At the end of the day, each tank now holds approximately six gallons of avgas.
