Brief Description: Weighed Aircraft-1,118 pounds!

With Randy's help, the aircraft was weighed with the canopy closed, in a level attitude and with all removable components laid in their approximate location on the aircraft. The weight on the left main gear was 523 pounds, the right main gear weighed 525 pounds, and the tail wheel weighed 70 pounds. This totalled 1,118 pounds, which was near the 1,100 pound estimate that I was hoping for. The factory aircraft weighed 965 pounds, considerably lighter, but I have a lot of extra items installed, as well as using two stage paint. I am pleased with the results!
