Brief Description: Reriveted Hinge to Oil Access Door Properly!
After Walt was able to have a friend weld closed the incorrectly drilled holes in the oil access door again, we finally were able to fit the hinge in the proper position. The hinge needed to be positioned on the cowling so that it would have clearance thru the full range of motion. The hinge was then drilled to the cowling and clecoed in place. The oil door was then put in place and the hinge was drilled to the door. The holes were countersunk and the hinge was riveted to the door.
