Brief Description:  Drilled Top Cowl to Side Support Braces

I removed the right side support and marked the top edge for filing it straight. I had not made a very straight cut on the band saw when I cut the side supports. The support was clamped to the bench and I filed the top edge straight and then smoothed the edges on the die grinder. I bent the front top edge of the left support in the vise, just like the right side. The supports were clecoed back into place on the cowling. I marked and drilled #40 holes in the top cowling along the sides beginning at 1'' from the aft edge and then 3 5/8'' spacing until the first two holes. The spacing was changed to 3 1/2'' for the next hole and then 1 1/4'' from the front edge on each side. This spacing resulted in nine camlocs to be used along each side, for a total of 46 camlocs installed on the cowlings. The cowling is now drilled completely with pilot holes.
I removed the left side support and clamped it to the bench in order to straighten its top edge. There was too much material to remove by filing, so I cut the edge with the Dremel.
