Brief Description: Cleaned and Repacked Wheel Bearings
I finished cleaning the old grease off the left wheel bearings and the rings with mineral spirits. I packed the wheel bearings with AeroShell 22 grease by applying a small amount of grease to my palm and then pounding the bearing into my palm which causes the grease to move around and between the bearings. After each bearing was packed with grease, the bearing was reinserted into the wheel and the rings were reinstalled. I washed down the right gear wheel bearings and the rings with mineral spirits used as a solvent. The right gear wheel bearings were then reassembled.
