Brief Description: Glued Windshield Fairing in Place
Epoxy resin was mixed and applied on the underside of the entire windshield fairing, as well as on the fuselage and the windshield. Flox was added to the resin and applied to the fuselage areas on the side to help affix the fairing to the fuselage and windshield. After the fairing was glued in place, clamps were applied every inch or two along the roll bar. Straps were wrapped around the fuselage and the fairing, with wood boards placed under the straps to protect the fuselage. Holes were drilled in the fairing and fuselage and then wing clamps were inserted with brackets.
