Brief Description:  Trimmed Roll Bar Edge of Windshield Fairing

With Walt's help, the front and aft edges of the windshield fairing were trimmed uniformly.

The canopy was closed and a strip of duct tape was laid on the leading edge of the canopy. The aft edge of the duct tape served as a reference point all the way around the fairing. I decided to have the roll bar fairing two inches wide. After many reference marks were made on the fairing, two one-inch strips of painter's tape were laid on the fairing. The overhang of the fairing aft of the roll bar will be approximately 1/2''-5/8''. The curve of the left side of the fairing was duplicated by Walt on the right side using a paper template.

After we determined the final lines of the fairing, the fairing was sanded using the belt sander. Final sanding was done by hand.
