Brief Description: Sanded Edges of Fairing/Added More Patches
Lines were marked for the edges and sides for sanding. The belt sander was set up outside and and the sides and front edge were sanded closer to the reference lines. While sanding, I found that an area in the center was weak and needed another patch. The fairing bent while sanding and another area that had just been patched cracked on the edge of the patch.
The center section had two layers of glass laid in place. The cracked area had a patch laid on the outside and bottom. Another patch was applied as well.
