After cutting each fiberglass strip, I folded the strip and laid it on top of the others. I duct-taped the cardboard templates in place on the canopy and the fuselage. I cut out the overlap of the cardboard on the center rail and then taped over it. The templates were outlined with a large Sharpie and the rivet holes were marked as well.
