I had opened/closed the canopy many times since Walt had come by and touched up the rear anchor mount. The mount had been scratched up more and I finally realized the problem. The mount was too close to the fuselage side, which also pushed the canopy side out. I determined that a new mount could be installed and moved inward 1/8" from the fuselage edge.
