Brief Description: Completed Lock/Made Slots in Rail
I continued work on the lock. The hole cut out of the inside brace had to be enlarged in order to fit a 3/4'' socket onto the lock nut. I marked the rail where the lock hit the rail. I then drilled two holes at each end of the slot location. I used the cut-off wheel in the Dremel to cut the slot and the fied the edges. I made another slot in the same manner about three inches aft for an intermediate locking position.
