I used a Unibit to enlarge the latch hole in the canopy. I drilled the hole with the canopy clecoed to the frame on the fuselage. The hole was drilled up to 9/16''. The latch was put in place to help lock the position of the canopy. I used the zero-flute countersink in the cordless drill to countersink all of the holes along the front canopy frame bow and the center bow. The latch sets too low for the pin by 3/8'' and the opening needs to be extended by approximately 1/4''. Doug and I took the canopy off the fuselage. I used the Dremel and cutoff wheel to cut the 3/8'' off the tube. We clamped the C-759's to the canopy bows and drilled the right side with #30 bit.
