Brief Description: Made Nutplate Doubler Strips/Primed Pieces
I took the doubler strips that Dave Manning had cut for me and drilled them to match the holes drilled in the canopy tracks. I riveted K1000-08 nutplates to them, like Matt Burch had done on his RV-7. I primed the strips, as well as the spacer pieces that will be riveted to the aft end of the cnaopy tracks. I then riveted the spacers to the tracks and riveted the nutplates to the doubler strips. I screwed the left canopy track and doubler strip in place on the canopy brace.
