Brief Description: Lightening Holes in Canopy Skirts
I trimmed the front corners of each of the C-759 inside canopy skirts. I also cleaned up the edges of the skirts and the C-791 canopy skirt braces. I measured the position of the lightening holes in both of the braces and drilled pilot holes in each brace. Unfortunately, I drilled holes for two left sides, instead of a right and a left. I remeasured and drilled new pilot holes for the right side correctly. The original pilot holes were about 3/16" off from the new holes. I used a 1 1/4" hole cutter to drill out ten lightening holes per the plans in each brace. I used the die grinder to clean up the holes. I trimmed the aft ends of the braces.
