I tried using two cargo straps to bend the roll bar, but they did not work. Jeff suggested that we use a come-along to bend the bar. Using the come-along with a belt wrapped around one end and a rope, we eventually pulled the roll bar to the proper length. It took about five attempts to finally get it done.
The desired width was about 42'' and the bar width was 42 5/16''. We would pull it to a starting point of 39'' and found the bar had barely moved. The final pull was to about 37 1/4'', which resulted in the desired bar width of 42''.
