Brief Description: Vacation in Hawaii!

No work on the plane from 5/6-5/14. Mary, Brian, Drew and I went to Hawaii during that time frame and stayed four days in Waikiki and three on the island of Kauai. We had a great time, even though it rained every day we were there. We visited Pearl Harbor, USS Bowfin (sub), USS Missouri (battleship), Pacific Aviation Museum, Polynesian Cultural Center, took a ride in the Atlantis submarine, took a helicopter ride around Kauai on Blue Hawaiian Helicopters (fantastic!), a dinner/sunset cruise on a 65' catamaran around the NaPali coast of Kauai, and started to go ziplining. The ziplining was interrupted after two zips by a rain shower with lightning, so the rest of the day was cancelled. We then drove to see a large waterfall, Wailua Falls. Before we left Oahu for LAX, we drove around the island to the east and then to the north shore. Saw more great sights! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed each other's company--i.e. no big fights!
