I inserted the tailwheel rod and assembly into the tail. I installed the bolt and nut for the rod and torqued them.
I placed the center cabin cover in place and drilled two holes in the floor stiffeners and cover on each side. I cleaned up the edges of the cover and dimpled the nutplate holes. I cleaned up the edges of the access plate and it is ready for priming. I enlarged the two corner holes along the top of the firewall recess and in the firewall to #19 for the AN525 screws.
The ELT antenna was drilled to a scrap piece that will be riveted to the right longeron in the aft corner of the baggage area. I used an Adel clamp to position the ELT antenna along the top of the baggage bulkhead.
Tim Conway-2.0 Tim looked over the layout of my wiring and offered a few suggestions. He will find me the correct crimper for the D-sub pins for the OAT wire, and some wire loom for the dimmer wiring and others, He also helped me come up with the location for the ELT antenna.
