Tim reviewed my initial proposed layout of the control boxes behind the panel. He suggested that I make up a panel that will be bolted to the underside flanges of the ribs between the firewall and the subpanel. The AOA box and the dimmer controller will be bolted to the right side and the LightSpeed box will be on the left side. The LightSpeed box needs cooling, so Tim suggested that a U-shaped standoff bracket be made and Tig-welded, which he can have done at his shop. The cooling fans can be attached to the upper side of the shelf, one on each side. A hole will be drilled in the center of the LightSpeed box location and a cooling hose can be routed directly to the center of the box. He also looked at the canopy frame and said that Chris at his shop should be able to make any bends that are needed.
