Brief Description: Determined Location of Sub-Panel Cutouts
Emmett Starks cut out cardboard copy of instrument sub-panel. Cut out areas of sub-panel where the radio stack and map box will go thru. I will have to reinforce the sub-panel where these holes will be positioned. The map box cutout will extend below the sub-panel.
I plan to install brackets to support the bottom of the map box. The brackets will be riveted to a scrap piece and this subassembly will be screwed to the sub-panel. Nutplates will be installed on the sub-panel. Reinforcing brackets will also be riveted to the sub-panel around the holes.
