Brief Description: Checked Fit of Instrument Panel in Fuselage
1.0 10/26/07-Clamped skin to top of instrument panel. Clamped plastic instrument panel to ribs. Measured gaps between panel and skin. Gap at right rib was 1/8''; center rib was 1/16''; left rib was 9/32''. Talked with Jason-Aerotronics: He said that the panel dimensions were from another customer's RV-6 panel, so he was not surprised to hear that the panel is not the proper shape.
Cut out cardboard template of panel for my benefit. Shipped panel back to Jason-Aerotronics. He should receive it Wed, 10/31.
