Brief Description: Dried out Dessicant Plugs/Installed New Canopy Rol
I took the engine dessicant plugs out and took them home. They were dried out and I reinserted six of the eight plugs. Some of the remaining plugs were cracked or broken and need to be replaced. I called Kevin Landers and he said he would get me some replacements. I sprayed the engine with the preservative oil.
I received my hardware order from Van's and installed the longer screws, AN509-10R24, into the right rear anchor block. I was unable to get shorter screws, 10R20, from Van's, so I added some washers. I installed new canopy rollers and placed them in the proper orientation. The old ones were not installed properly and would not slide smoothly. Now the rollers slide better. I took the canopy off and drilled pilot holes for the bottom row in the left skirt.
