Inserted rest of rivets into right spar. Had to shorten 6-25 rivets. Set spar up for riveting using C-shaped arbor on table, braced, and used adjustable hangar rack for support. Placed a few blocks of wood under opposite flange to keep spar level.
Used 3 lb. hammer to rivets. Started at wingtip end and worked the way inboard. Discovered that during riveting, the spar web was being dimpled slightly by the expanding rivet and a gap of 0.005-0.010" developed between spar web and flange strip W-606C. Drilled a hole in a 2X4" block wide and deep enough to fit over shop head of rivets and pounded it to close up the gap. Could not get the gaps closed completely but gap was made smaller.
