Assembled left spar starting w/taping rivets into place for spacers. Laid doubler on top of boards so that rivets would not fall out. Laid spacers on rivets and using 3/16" bolts, at st. 23.5, 34.375, & 43.625, laid flange strips 606B & 606A on top of doubler. Laid spar on next and all rivets and bolts lined up. Inserted close tolerance bolts in inboard and outboard holes, top and bottom. Tightened washers and nuts on bolts and added more bolts in almost all bolt locations, top and bottom. Riveted flush rivets on first 5 sparcer bars w/back-rivet set. Riveted rest of rivets with rivet gun and bucking bar. Placed spar in vise to keep it steady. Did not keep gun straight on a few rivets and ended up with a few smiley heads.
