Cleaned corners of spar flanges with fine file and sandpaper. Drilled 3/16" holes in tiedown bars (W422). Per F. Justice's notes, drilled the one hole offset approx 1/8". Used drill press to drill holes. Used file to radius one edge of each tiedown bar. Used end of Scotchbrite wheel in hand grinder to clean up creases around holes dimpled in doublers.
