The area around the hole in the right rear spar was taped off with masking tape. The area to the left of the hole was taped with painter tape. The tape was marked enlarging the left side by about 1/4". The edge of the hole was drilled with #40 bits. The cutting bit was placed in the Dremel. The area in the right rear spar was cut out with the Dremel. The Scotchbrite and die grinder was used to clean up the edge of the hole. The right rear spar hole was cleaned up and the tape was removed. The aileron control rod was attached to the aileron with the control stop in place. The hole is now wide enough for the control rod to move and the aileron reaches the stop with no interference.
