Brief Description:  Completed Nav Archer Antenna Installation

I ran the ground and power wires for the right nav/strobe lights along the Archer antenna, per the Archer instructions. The wires were clamped to the antenna with the plastic clamps provided. The coax cover for the nav antenna was stripped off.

There are two shields under the cover. I was able to separate the two shields and cut off the outer one. The innershield was crimped onto the provided ring terminal and then soldered. The coax inner wire was also crimped onto another ring terminal and also soldered. Heat shrink was applied over everything.

The two ring terminals were screwed onto the nav antenna. The coax wire needs to be installed at a 90 degree angle to the antenna, so I tied it off the the power wires.
