The outline of the fuel tank/fuselage attach bracket was marked on the fuselage. A reference line between two rivets was marked and a pilot hole was drilled. I crawled into the cockpit and drilled a larger hole thru the angle bracket and the fuselage. The attach bracket had been clamped to the fuel tank bracket and I attempted to also drill thru this bracket, but the clamp was not strong enough and the bracket moved away from the drill bit.
