Brief Description: Rivet Outboard Tank Ribs Misc. Stuff
Made two .032 1X2'' pieces to use to cover tooling holes in both outboard tank ribs. Drilled four #30 holes in each piece and rib. These pieces will be placed on inboard side of rib. Will place 470-4-4 rivets in both outboard tank ribs as well.
Filled up some air pockets along stiffeners with Proseal.
Made up 40 grams of Proseal.
Left fuel tank: Scuffed up filler vent and tank skin. Cleaned everything with MEK. Riveted filler vent to left fuel tank by back-riveting, using 3-4.5 rivets for attaching tank vent line and fuel level indicator. Cleaned off excess Proseal with MEK. Cleaned & riveted fuel vent fitting with spacers to right root rib. Used hand squeezer to rivet.
