Brief Description: ProSeal Eight Stiffeners to Left/Right Tanks
Right tank: Used back rivet set to rivet stiffeners 1-6 on right tank. Mixed up batch of ProSeal. Used needlenose pliers to grip head of rivets to insert in stiffener holes after dipping rivet in rivets to keep ProSeal from getting on back riveting plate. Placed electrical tape over rib lines in tank. Placed painting tape along lengths of stiffeners. Used brushes & popsicle sticks to spread ProSeal on stiffeners. Spread ProSeal over rivet shop heads and around each stiffener. All stiffeners riveted on right tank. Used MEK to clean up excess ProSeal on skin and on stiffeners.
Left tank: Used MEK to clean all stiffeners and rib lines in left tank. Placed electrical tape over rib lines in tank. Placed painting tape along lengths of stiffeners. Used back rivet set to rivet stiffeners 5 & 10 using method above.
