Brief Description: Prosealed Four Stiffeners to Right Tank
Took left tank apart. Etched numbers into all tank stiffeners and ribs. Cut length of brushes down to 1/2''. Used enamel cleaner and then MEK to clean all stiffeners and rib lines in right tank. Mixed up small batch of ProSeal. Placed rivets in glass jar and soaked them in MEK. Used needlenose pliers to grip head of rivets to insert in stiffener holes after dipping rivet in ProSeal. Used to poke rivets into position. Wiped off excess ProSeal over rivet heads. Placed painting tape over rivets to keep ProSeal from getting on back riveting plate. Placed electrical tape over rib lines in tank. Placed painting tape along length of a few stiffeners. Used brushes & popsicle sticks to spread ProSeal on stiffeners. Used back rivet set to rivet stiffeners 7-10 on right tank. Spread ProSeal over rivet shop heads and around each stiffener. Used MEK to clean up ProSeal off tank skin after taking tape off.
