Trimmed side of aileron gap seal that sets under the top skin to 1 15/16". Filed edge smooth with file and then Scotchbrite wheel. Drilled left side of inboard aileron hinge bracket to rear spar. Used a curved file to notch five half-moons in the W-625L stub rib, in case the rivets will touch the stub rib flange. Deburred all holes. Used Dremel cut-off wheel to trim corner of bracket that does not fully cover a rivet hole. Made marks on gap seal for corner areas that will need to be trimmed because of interference by hinge brackets. Clamped three-foot ruler on top of skin in preparation of marking holes for attaching the gap seal to the top skin.
