Dave Ross made an extension tube for the pitot tube to check clearances thru the bracket. We decided upon drilling two holes in the two ribs, 8 and 8A, for the tubing. Placed plastic hole brackets in each hole, after enlarging each bracket w/Unibit to 1/4" diameter. Also drilled 7/16" hole in rib 9 on the lower side and placed a bulkhead fitting in this hole. Pitot tubing will be attached to the shorter (static?) source and then attached to this fitting. The tubing will then run to the fuselage from this fitting. Pitot tubing will run from the pitot tube to the fuselage for the pitot? source. Took off all clecoes attaching leading edge to the spar. Need to cut hole in clear tubing betw/rib 8 and 9 for the electrical wiring from the pitot tube.
